The satisfaction you get from wearing something done with your own hands is pretty fulfilling; not to mention how proud of yourself you can feel. It adds a little more meaning and fun to the art that dressing up can be. I personally think that there is nothing better that you can have or give than something made by yourself. Kimonos are so versatile and so easy to wear. Just throw them on top of any outfit and it will add a very careless and unique touch.
